How to make a plushie : This weeks DIY tutorial is on a felt Totoro Drawstring Bag. Make a cute bag featuring Studio Ghibli's Totoro with lining and drawstring. Use the template to come up with your very own designs.
I haven't met anyone who doesn't like Totoro. So I thought he would be a perfect character to design my first drawstring bag with. His little face fits very well on the bag and raises the cute factor to a million plus!

How to make a plushie : This weeks plushie tutorial is of a Hello Kitty Apple by Sanrio. Inspired by a squishie this is super Kawaii and simple to sew. What other fruit variations of this cute kitty can you make up?
I just love Hello Kitty and I just love Apples! So when I saw the squishy of a Hello Kitty Apple, I just had to make it into a plushie! What better way to show how much I love this kitty then by showing everyone how to make one?
It isnt very complicated at all. Make sure you cut the pieces out correctly and remember this is just a guide. Feel free to alter anything you want and come up with your own designs. Good luck and do message me if you have any questions. Hugz ~_^

How to make a plushie tutorial : Rilakkuma Zipper Felt Pouch
How to make a plushie : This weeks DIY tutorial is on a felt Rilakkuma zipper pouch. Make a cute pouch with lining, zipper, and ribbon featuring San-X's Rilakkuma and his ears sticking out. A do it yourself project that anyone can accomplish, have fun and show your work! Enjoy!
*Remember to OPEN you zipper at least half way BEFORE applying the back stitching around the pouch before turning it inside out.
You can use another type of fabric for the lining of your pouch. Choose one with print, a thinner fabric than felt, or something that is abit more durable for a longer pouch life.
Remember this is just an example of how to make a puch with a zipper. Feel free to use the template and alter it to you liking. Make other characters or whatever your creative minds can think of! The possibilities are endless!

Smooth Super Mario Inspired Outfit - Casual
I decided to make a smooth cool looking outfit based on my favorite Nintendo character, Super Mario! I don't like that I can't find much video game inspired clothing that are considered high fashion, so I created a DIY tutorial on a Mario Sharpie t-shirt. Now I can feel smooth while sporting my childhood video game character in style!
I love video games and so I buy clothes that have some of my favorite characters on them. However these clothes always look either childish or nerdy. I longed for a piece of clothing that featured something from a video game which was still fashionable. Tired of the search I decided to make a mature looking Super Mario shirt from an old Polo shirt I had. So, the Mario Sharpie DIY T-shirt tutorial was born. Click here to watch it!
I wear my now favorite shirt knowing its the only one in existence and that it looks damn good on me. Then I paired it with a sleek pair of button embellished pants. This gave me the chance to finally show off my fedora hat and new shades bought at a local pharmacy. Can you say sexy much? Well I can because thats how I felt wearing this, muawhahahahaha. The belt has a really cool chain embellishment on it which raised the "edge" factor of the outfit. Finally, staying comfortable, I opted for my favorite pair of sneakers from Creative Recreation.

DIY Fashion Tutorial : Make your own Super Mario T-shirt using sharpie permanent markers. Looking to spice up an old Polo Shirt I decided to make my very first fashion tutorial.
-Use light strokes on template of your choice and then go back over it to make the lines more bold. -Always make sure you have something inside the shirt before drawing on it so the ink doesn't leak through to the other side.
-Iron the shirt after the ink has dried to set it in the fabric. (optional)
-If you get dizzy from the smell of the marker, take a break.
-Have fun!
